ProPlaster™ One Coat Plasters technology eliminates the need for a two coat plastering system plastering and putty application, and provides durable smooth, silky white surface ready to receive a decorative finish. It replaces a dirty and conventional masonry (sand-cement) plastering and relatively easy to work with.
One Coat plaster can be applied from 8mm to 25mm thick which can be either machine or hand applied, making ideal for any size of commercial or domestic applications. However, when machine applied it offers excellent productivity and is up to 3 times faster than traditional plastering methods.

Arish™ ProPlaster™ One Coat & Base Coat can be sprayed directly onto walls which is much faster, creates a smoother finish and reduces costs. Revolutionary in its results, it is set to save substantial time, labor and water costs especially on large building projects.
ProPlaster™ can be Spray finish with worm pump spray machines, providing Smooth, high qualities finish onto wall surface In a fraction of the time of traditional plastering methods. This improves productivity enables projects to be handed over earlier.
Generally speaking, when applied by hand, the plaster application is a labor intensive process.
However, when applied by machine, the process becomes simpler and more efficient, allowing for continuous mixing and an increase in the productivity of the plastering team.
Application Steps
Step 1 Mix
ProSeries wall plasters are also designed to work with worm pump spray machines. Simply open the bag over the machine hopper and set the machine water gauge to 800 mili bar and the machine automatically mixes the plaster to a consistent mix.
Step 2 Spray
Damp the wall surface first and Spray ProPlaster to an even thickness of 2mm. Apply spray like zigzag pattern from right to left and from bottom to top.
Step 3 Flatten
After 5-10 minutes, the sprayed surface is flattened with a wide spatula or Darby.
Step 4 Trowel
Use the trowel to flatten the surface.
(a). Right after the final setting, using the sponge to extract gypsum seriflux out of the plaster, spray some water for the extraction if necessary.
(b). Leave to harden, the final trowel is done at around 110minutes with steel trowel to get a brilliant and hard glazed surface. The wall/ceiling is now finished. Once dry, the surface is ready for decorating with no need for any sanding or additional treatment.
Spray to an even thickness. Apply spray like zigzag pattern from right to left and from bottom to top.
Note: On Base Case coat use ProPlaster™ Finish Coat with hand application as the final layer for the smooth finish. One bag of Finish Coat will cover 75sq ft. For the extra smooth surface a thin layer of Finish Coat can also be applied on One Coat
Note Well:
Plastering machine and the application tools should be cleaned after finishing the job.
Hand Plaster Application
Mixing Instructions
- Use clean water and clean container (not a dry drum or wheelbarrow)
- Add ProPlaster of your choice One Coat or Base Coat to water, measure out 15 liters of clean water in a 30 kgs bag and soak for 10 minutes.
- Mix slowly if manually, do not mix with your hands, if using drill machine turn on the drill when the plaster is wet. Mix for 5 minutes and keep 800RPM, mixture must have texture of thick cream. Do not over mix the plaster
- Mixing should preferably be done by mechanical means. This aerates the plaster, increasing coverage and improving workability.
- Mix only until the plaster is lump free. Do not re-stir or add more ProPlaster or water to the mix after mixing is complete.
- Do not mix more plaster than you can use in 80 minutes. (Not more than 2bags per mixing container)
- Do not add any foreign matter (e.g. cement or sand) to ProPlaster. Use it neat.
Note Well: Water ratio is an approximate figure. Workability can be altered by adding or reducing the volume of water.
Application Tips Using ProPlaster™
- Step 1: First Spray the water on wall surface and then apply ProPlaster™ onto wall surface.
- Step 2: Level it out with a Darby or straight edge. Leave until partially set. Test with the back of your hand – ProPlaster must stick to the wall, not your hand.
- Step 3: Right after the final setting, using the sponge to extract gypsum seriflux out of the plaster, spray some water for the extraction if necessary.
- Step 4: Leave to harden and polish the surface with a steel trowel for smooth silky finish.
- Step 5: Before decoration check the entire surface carefully to see that the plaster has set hard, is dry and free from powder/dust.
- Step 6: Clean utensils after each mix, Materials from a previous mix, scraped down from a darby or any other tool, must not be added to a fresh mix.
- Step 7: Do not apply ProPlaster while temperature is below freezing.
Ideal Temperature for application: 5℃- 45℃.
Note: On Base Case coat use ProPlaster™ Finish Coat as the final layer for the smooth finish. One bag of Finish Coat will cover 75sq ft. For the extra smooth surface a thin layer of Finish Coat can also be applied on One Coat
Precautions: ProPlaster should not be used in areas where walls are washed with hosepipes, in showers or in industrial type kitchens. Do not tempt to remix or over mix ProPlaster
